About Me
 This section is always going to be a work in
progress since I can never really remember everything about me in one
sitting. I will try to keep everything I write here in some sort of order
(chronological, subject, object), but I am afraid that this section may end up
as more of a blog rather than a true "about me" page. Well, here
goes nothing.
Geography I will start from the beginning. I was born in Texas and lived there until I just finished Kindergarten where I then moved to Wisconsin to start 1st grade. After my 4th grade school year was finished my family moved to another town in Wisconsin that ended up being so close to the Twin Cities (St. Paul/Minneapolis) that I could say that I grew up there, but I like to say that I am from Wisconsin rather than Minnesota. Nothing against Minnesota, but I didn't actually live there. I just know a great deal about the area. The summer after my Junior year of High School, my family moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have to say that it was tough move for me. I had to leave all of my friends and a girlfriend to spend only a single year in another country that I knew nothing about. I suppose I could have been mad at my parents for dragging us to the other side of the world, but as in every previous move, I took it in stride. It was only one year and I was going to be heading off to college after that year anyway. In hindsight, I was probably the best experience of my life and would recommend a move outside the US to anyone that asks. It really gave me an appreciation for the luxuries that I had while living in the US. Anyway, I had decided to go to Iowa State University after High School, so after graduation I moved to Iowa while my family remained 10,000 miles away for another 2 years. I have been at Iowa State ever since minus a 7 month stint outside of Chicago on an internship and another month in Cleveland on another internship. Now that I am graduating, I don't know where I might end up next. Sport Interests I would say that, for the most part, I am a fairly big sports fan. I would not say that I am interested in just one particular sport, but there are some that I would prefer. I have played soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, golf, and ultimate frisbee while growing up and still continue to play both golf and ultimate in the summer. Someday, when I settle down after college, I hope to be a part of some beer league softball team, which mixes two of my favorite items, beer and sport.
Other Interests I love to collect and drink wine. I am not sure if that can be considered an interest, but it is something I do often. I wouldn't say that I am an alcoholic, though, I just claim that I am staying healthy by drinking wine. I guess it's just those nights where I finish off an entire bottle that I could be considered an alcoholic. Merlots are my favorites, but I like to experience the entire spectrum of wines, so I don't limit my self to just merlots. Although, I don't really care for the sweet whites unless I am eating some spicy food. This section is becoming very random and I am sure that I will eventually sort it out a bit better, but like I said, I can only remember so many things in one sitting. I will probably throw in a music interest section eventually, but for now I will just say that I am a huge Ben Folds fan. Maybe it is just because I also play the piano and love to try and play Ben's music that I am a fan, but I think his stuff is some of the best music I have ever heard. And if you look at his music on paper and try to play it, you would think that he could be considered a musical genius. His chord progressions. His note layout. All amazing and all very musical. He is even better in person too. I went to one of his concerts and all I wanted to do was be him or at least just hang out with him for a day. It was awesome. Ok, well that is all for now. I am a huge Boston Red Sox fan, even though
I have only been to Boston once and that was just this last summer for a job
interview. I was originally a Clemens fan when I collected baseball cards
as a kid and remained a loyal Red Sox fan from then one. I have been to a
few Red Sox games against the Twins when I lived near the Twin Cities. I
even got to see Clemens pitch many years ago. 
Even though I didn't ever
play, I am a pretty big football fan and a Chicago Bears fan. I don't know
why I am a Bears fan, but I know I have been one since childhood. I have
been to Chicago many times, but I had to see my only NFL and Bears game as a
Thursday night special against the Vikings in the Metrodome when I was in 5th or
6th grade. I think the game went into overtime and I didn't get home until
2am on a school night.
